Reel Scout - 2026-11-04
Six reels. One is fully confirmed off its page, three are unverified because the Instagram extractors died mid-run, two carry real numbers from YouTube page JSON. Where a count could not be read, it says so and says which check failed.
1. The whole company as a list, not a launch · Instagram
Link: instagram.com/reel/DXjp5nUkqZy · @thevibefounder (Ajay Yadav)
Hook: "One person. One company. All AI agents."
Format: Series opener, numbers stacked
Why it fits: He demos alone and never frames it as a launch; this makes the company itself the content, one line per row, which is the cheapest build-in-public opener there is.
Steal this: Resumedogs or Fineprint: "One founder. Four products. All on a phone." then one line per live thing, ending on the number that is real.
Effort: phone only
Reach: unverified. Caption and handle read off the page; the like and comment row did not render in the extract.
Promo: his own product, chirpr.ai. The 300+ signups and 5,110 name votes are his claims, not checked.
2. Count the ingredient lines out loud · Instagram
Link: instagram.com/reel/DdLM3tEvkbx · handle did not render
Hook: "Out of 8 lines of ingredients, 6.5 lines were purely chemical additives."
Format: Count the lines on the pack
Why it fits: This is Fineprint's thesis done by literally counting lines on a label, and it needs one packet and one phone.
Steal this: Fineprint on a fruit cake or a "milky" biscuit: count the ingredient lines on camera, ask the app which of them get a warning in the EU but not in India.
Effort: phone only
Reach: unverified. One extractor backend returned 403 and the retry timed out; caption comes from the search index and no count was read.
Promo: the caption recommends LabelSaaf, a competing label scanner. Format reference only.
3. Read the order, then the front of the pack · Instagram · repeat from 2026-11-02
Link: instagram.com/reel/DIIiYeMB3kj · @mom_musings_bypriti
Hook: "How to read the Label. Ye biscuit companies bada scam chala rahe hai."
Format: Read the order, then the front
Why it fits: The ingredient-order trick is the fastest Fineprint demo that exists, no app needed in frame until the reveal.
Steal this: Fineprint: hold a pack whose front says oats, ask out loud "is this an oats biscuit?", let the answer read the first three ingredients and the 3% oats line.
Effort: phone only
Reach: unverified. Extractor timed out, no browser available, caption is from the search index; no count read.
4. Build log narrated over the live screen · Instagram
Link: instagram.com/reel/DchLt8wCJ0I · handle did not render
Hook: "Auto-publishing clips to IG and YouTube from one transcript."
Format: Build log over a live screen
Why it fits: A screen recording with voiceover while shipping, no face, no intro, which is the only build-in-public format he can shoot on a bad day.
Steal this: allmyslides: record the broken version, say what broke, end on the one thing that now works, no music.
Effort: screen recording
Reach: unverified. No count readable; caption from the search index.
5. Complaint, then fix, in the same breath · YouTube
Link: youtube.com/shorts/-vMSStVNtYQ · channel Every
Hook: "I hate organizing. Let me show you what I mean."
Format: Complaint, then fix
Why it fits: It opens on a messy folder and self-deprecation instead of a product name, which is the exact register he already writes in.
Steal this: Fineprint: "I photograph every packet I eat and never read a single one. So I built this." Open on the camera roll of label photos, one scan, done.
Effort: screen recording
Reach: 36,541 views, 490 likes, 59s, published 15 Dec 2023 (read from page JSON). Not current, copy the structure not the timing.
6. The audience asked, so I automated it · YouTube
Link: youtube.com/shorts/-fCTVK7v8UY · Luke Barousse
Hook: "My subscribers have been relentless in asking about top skills they should learn as a data analyst, so like any lazy data nerd I'm going to automate this."
Format: Ask the audience, then build
Why it fits: The stakes are a real question from real users and the excuse is laziness, which is more credible than a launch voice.
Steal this: Resumedogs: "Everyone asks me to review their resume. So I automated it." One resume on screen, one fix, no summary at the end.
Effort: screen recording
Reach: 28,142 views, 2,328 likes, 57s, published 14 Feb 2023 (read from page JSON). Old, format reference only.
Pattern of the day: Every one opens on a specific number or a specific mess already on screen, ingredient lines, signups, agents, transcripts, a downloads folder, and none opens with a name, a logo or a plan.
Skipped: four Instagram reels that were straight app promos for competing label scanners (Poorna Satya, TruthIn, LabelSaaf again), a "comment STARTUP and I DM you the stack" list bait, the OpenClaw four-agents reel, a Y Combinator reply-guy post, and three 2026 YouTube shorts checked and dropped for near-zero reach (377, 211 and 1,608 views). Budget used: 6 searches, 4 extracts, all four spent, three of them on failures. Browser still down: Chromium is missing libatk-1.0.so.0. YouTube numbers verified by curl against the page JSON, not counted as extracts.
